Luxury powerhouse Salvatore Ferragamo last year marked a momentous occasion – the 75th anniversary of the brand’s first London store, which opened in 1938 – by hosting a fine Italian dinner in the legendary Burlington Arcade on Old Bond Street. Surrounded by roses and candles, a posse of celebrities and A-listers including Camilla Belle, Jessica Alba and artist Tim Noble were joined by Ferragamo Chairman Ferruccio Ferragamo, CEO Michele Norsa and Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti for an event blending traditional Italy with old Blighty at a location steeped not only in architectural but also in fashion history. It was a fitting celebration of the legacy of Salvatore Ferragamo’s success and the further refurbishment and expansion of its London flagship store.
